Beautiful BLM campground. Very rustic, not very many amenities, but it's $20 bucks a night, off the beaten path, and under a beautiful sky. It's also conveniently located on the Onion Creek trail. A very cool place to see away from tourists and other people.

This campground is about 21 miles down Hwy 128 near Fisher Towers. It's a beautiful area, surrounded by red rock formations and spring flowers. The sites are gravel/dirt with plenty of room and has a picnic table and fire pit. There was not much shade and some sites may be more exposed to the wind, which we encountered. It's quiet and peaceful.

Secluded and nestled in the valley of some buttes. Great views and quiet spaces and had some spots available in high season. A bit of a surprise. It has an open air toilet close and a closed one near trailhead about a quarter of a mile away.

Onion creek trail is about a 2 hour off roading trail that ends with a really nice view. We took our Ford F-150 and we did fine. There are 24 creeks that you pass it’s about a 1 way road so you have to yield to others. You can keep going and it takes you to La Sal mountains. Fisher tower is close by as well. There is no cell service - so make sure you have a compass.

A very nice BLM campround located in Castle Valley. Not far away from the well-known Fisher Towers area. The campground is rather small, clean and offers great views. It usually fills up quickly, so arrive before noon to secure a free site.
