Really cool hike. Def not for amateurs, kids, or people who can’t climb rocks. There’s a lot of tight places where you need to wedge yourself between the slot to climb up and down. Wouldn’t recommend going here by yourself or if you haven’t been with someone who’s gone before. Not easy to find.

Fantastic canyoneering canyon, tight in places but beautiful and loads of fun. Probably not for beginners. It was a long hike out with confusing trails to follow!! Luckily for us no water.

My son and I did this hike a number of years ago. It was a blast! The 80' rappell was the highpoint. It did take us several hours to locate the beginning of the slot primarily due to my misreading the topo map. Long hike back to camp via Lower Chute Canyon. We were a couple tired puppies when we finally made it back. Enjoyed a wonderful meal and sound sleeping. Great slot!

Solid canyon. Not for hiking- this is a great beginners canyon for canyonering. Bring lots of water and know the route before you go because it’s easy to get lost in your way back to the car.
