Really beautiful campsite that is really out there. It has several outhouse scattered around, as well as campfire pits and plenty of great places for setting uo tents or trailers. About 5 minutes walking distance from the lake (which has lots of fish to catch by the way.) Its pretty fsr away from anything so it requires a pretty big drive, but at the same time its really close to the flaming gorge... Really beautiful campsite that is really out there. I have been going to Browne Lake since I was a kid (I’m not quite a kid anymore). I have very fond memories of catching fish on the lake and off the spill way creek. The group sites are spacious and the trailer sites seem to be pretty nice too. We sleep in a tent but the rest of the families have trailers.

This host was very rude to us. We pulled next to a bathroom and he came driving right over to let us know we could not be there. We did not know we were at the group site, He came over yelling and saying that the area was private..Get out! Get out! All he needed to do was let us know and we would moved. The host was yelling as we were trying to load up. This guy was rude, and was yelling. I ho... This host was very rude to us.
