We have been traveling with our 6 year old grandson for a month and a half now and this was by far his and our favorite camping experience. If you are looking for an authentic experience with nature and amazing views this is the place for you. Prairie dogs and deer were all over and the deer came so close to us. It was so quiet we could hear the deer eating. If we are ever lucky enough to be back... If you love nature, you'll love this campground. If amenities are more your thing, then you'll want to move on. It a 2 mile drive off 89 on a dirt road. There are only about 15 sites. The owner told us when I made the reservation to pick any site we wanted. The one we picked was level. There were only four other RVs there, and all were quiet. The brick fire pit and picnic table were in great, like new condition. The prairie dogs are a hoot and add charm to this off-the-beaten-path campground. Our first night there, four deer walked within 20 feet of our window. We hiked a little dirt road and were rewarded with stunning views. At night, all is dark and you can see the Milky Way.

A beautiful campsite. We stood there all alone in the snow at the beginning of March and heard the coyotes howling. No light pollution, simply beautiful.

This is a very nice campground but you might want to know that it is a 15 minute drive off hwy 89. The entry is a gravel road and top speed for us pulling a 5th wheel trailer was 10 mph. I will say it is a two lane, well maintained gravel road. Follow the green rv sites sign as there are two turns. When we arrived there was no one to check us in or assign a site. We got a call back in a few minutes and were told to pick whatever site we wanted. The sites are large and very nice. There are no bathrooms and no garbage. No golf course either. If you are tired of rv parks right next to the highway, you will love this.

2 mile drive on dort road. Didn't mind the drive expecting the sites to look as they do on the website. Man, what a disappointment. There were like a total of maybe 15 sites. It's not level, no one on site. Wifi works only if you are close to the "cabin." This place looks like someone had a vision and ran out of money. There were a few full-time residents that had dumps for trailers. One even had a connex box in their site. Could be a cool place because of the views if someone actually still cared. Oh and the "golf course" is just as overgrown as the rv park. In the end, 35 bucks for full hookups I would do, minus the 2 mile dirt road
