Very nice spot to camp, lovely view and sunset. A mountain bluebird would visit us for a snack.

This is a special campground for me… me and my first love saw the longest sunset here. Took about a hr for it to go down due to it sitting on a mesa and overlooking the horizon with no mountains or landscape to obscure your view.

Spaces, we got the last. The restroom was fine with plenty of paper. The description said high clearance vehicles recommended, but most any vehicle can make it if you drive slow.

Great dispursed camping with vault toilets. Not enough room for trailers. Stunning sunset and stary night views.

Cowboy campground was excellent! The grounds were great, the spacing from neighbors was perfect. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is the lovingly dubbed "sky potty"... no roof on a pit toilet isn't the total deal breaker for me, but combined with a mostly full vault and it was an unpleasant experience. However do not let that stop you from enjoying a great little campground that is conveniently loc... Cowboy campground was excellent! The grounds were great, the spacing from neighbors was perfect.
