awesome hike, but has a big drop you need to climb a rope down. not good for kids, old folk, or liberals if planning on going all the way through.

This canyon is very beautiful. It is not super narrow, but the extremely tall canyon walls that are often pocked with holes are very interesting. The colors on the canyon walls are beautiful. There is an arch along the trail. This trail has some amazing very scenic spots. We drove our truck until the road got too tuff, and then ATV'd until there was a sign that said no more vehicles past this... This canyon is very beautiful. We parked and ended up being at the canyon entrance. It cut off a good mile off the hike. We hiked in as far as we could but then wimped out when the canyon got a little narrower and was filled with some water. It was just too cold a day for us to deal with wet. Loved it. Great adventure, beautiful hike.

If you can do a little climbing and love to hike, this is an awesome trail! Not nearly as many people as other trails in this section of the San Rafael Swell, and sandstone formations are set to mesmerize and humble you. It’s beautiful, but be cautioned, you’ll have to climb down a few small drops (

First mile or so was a rough slog but there is a short slot canyon and the views were spectacular. Bring lots of water. Much of the trail is in dry gulch so watch the weather in the surrounding area.
