Heber is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Utah weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for Heber.
Don't miss local attractions near Heber. Ask the camp host for hidden gems and trails.

Located inside Deer Creek State Park, primitive RV and tent sites. Water available at varies spigots, modern restroom. We stayed in the RV campground which is on the property. Nice facilities and friendly staff

We stayed at site 6. The trees were a bit too far apart for my kammok anaconda straps. There was enough room for a large tent and two singles though. The bathrooms were amazing. Showers were hot. Host was great. Lake was close; initially cold but some warm pockets. Felt great for the 95 degree weather. Couple guys caught some decent size trout. Highly recommend!

Campground host were very friendly. However..reserve America stated our spot was going to be "full shade".We had no generator which is why we chose it.There may be 3 spots in the entire campground with full shade. The hosts have one of them. We had one tiny sapling of a tree in our spot. Which gave about a 3- 4ft diameter spot of shade. Far from "full". Campspots are very close to each other as we... This was our first time staying at deer creek. I will pay a bit extra and get full hook ups next time. Was extremely hot.I can't blame the campground for the misleading description. But someone needs to definitely verify amenity information.
