Had some food at Hoovers. It’s open unlike some other places nearby…well caviat I mean on the slower weekdays. Chicken strips were a bit cold, but the waitress apologized and was extremely cordial about it. The burger was very good and the take out Cobb Salad excellent! Another fabulous family vacation at HOOVERS RIVER RESORT. We rented 5 of the 7 cabins this time as some of our out-of-state and out-of-country family couldn't make it this time. Dan and all the staff at Hoovers are super friendly and helpful. We love this place. The Hoovers Grill and the Mercantile are both excellent. Tubing or an exhilarating river run or ATV's are all available at Hoovers. Do... Another fabulous family vacation at HOOVERS RIVER RESORT. Due to high winds and fire danger, the power company had to shut off power to the valley on our last day there. It was only off from 8am to 4pm and we totally agreed with the decision. We still had a blast. Dan immediately showed up with large cases of bottled water for all the cabins and RV guests and to keep us informed throughout the day. Everyone at Hoovers River Resort wants to help make your stay with them memorable and fun, and they have achieved that every time for our family.
