About Kane Creek Recreation Area

Kane Creek Recreation Area is located west of the town of Moab, Utah. It provides visitors with access to camping, group camp sites, and world-class mountain bike and OHV trails. Popular trail systems include Amasa Back, Hymasa, Hunter Canyon Rim, Pritchett Canyon, Jackson, Captain Ahab, and more. Kane Springs Road quickly becomes a 4wd, high-clearance road after the Ledges Campground. The road continues into Lockhart Basin and eventually connects to State Route 211.
