The Moab area is great for a different camping experience. This time I decided to try Ledge B campground a little further down Kane Springs Rd. Check out the Birthing Panel (Petroglyph) on the way, just off the side of road.

Great place to camp if visiting this area. Pick spot carefully, thinking of sun & wind. Night sky is breathtaking & adventure everywhere around. We ran down Kane Creek to Chicken Corners & had an great time. Lots of traffic in area during day, but plenty quiet at night.

The location is beautiful and amazing. A bit of a rough drive. The road does get narrow and fallows a canyon. With some steep drop offs and hairpin curves. We stayed at ledge B campground. It was only for tent camping but was mostly taken by Rvs. This is not a place to go relax in the peace and quiet. Dogs barking constantly and generators running. Enforcement needs to be stepped up a bit.

This is a collection of roughly 5 campgrounds A through E. More privative than Kings Bottom or Williams Bottom campgrounds with exposed restrooms. No water available in any campground along Kane Creek road. Road gets rougher as you go further toward Chicken Corners.

1st come basis camping at Ledges A, B, and C. Price is $20/night. Vault toilets with no roof. Sites are limited to 10 people and 2 vehicles. No electricity, no water. Fire rings and picnic tables. Buy upgraded beefy tent stakes for the rocky soil. Wind will blow away poorly staked tents if it starts to blow. Can be busy and loud.
