About Miller Flat Reservoir Campground

Campground in Utah.

Miller Flat Reservoir Campground offers a serene mountain escape in the heart of Utah's stunning landscape. Nestled near the sparkling waters of Miller Flat Reservoir, this public campground provides RV travelers with an authentic outdoor experience that blends natural beauty with practical camping amenities. The setting captures the essence of Utah's diverse terrain, where high desert meets alpine forest, creating a unique environment that shifts dramatically with the seasons.

The reservoir itself becomes the focal point of any visit, inviting water enthusiasts to enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming during the warmer months. The clear waters reflect towering cliff formations and evergreen forests, creating a picturesque backdrop that photographers and nature lovers find endlessly appealing. Whether you're an avid angler hoping to catch trout or simply someone seeking peaceful waterside moments, Miller Flat Reservoir delivers both adventure and tranquility.

The campground's location places you within striking distance of some of Utah's most remarkable natural attractions. The region offers access to stunning hiking trails that range from leisurely riverside walks to challenging backcountry adventures. Rock formations in the area showcase the geological drama that defines this part of Utah, with colorful layers of stone telling stories spanning millions of years. Wildlife viewing opportunities abound, and birdwatchers frequently spot eagles, hawks, and numerous songbird species throughout the year.

The surrounding landscape provides a perfect escape for those seeking solitude or quality time with family and friends. The relatively remote setting means fewer crowds than many popular Utah destinations, yet you're still within reasonable driving distance of small towns where supplies and services are available. The clear night skies away from light pollution make this an exceptional spot for stargazing, a simple pleasure that connects campers directly to the vast universe above.

This campground appeals to a wide range of travelers: families seeking outdoor adventures, retirees exploring the American West at a leisurely pace, fishing enthusiasts chasing trophy catches, and anyone yearning to disconnect from daily life and reconnect with nature. The moderate elevation provides comfortable temperatures for much of the year, though visitors should come prepared for temperature variations typical of mountain environments.

My favourite place so far on this planet. There is a 3-4 hour ATV circuit through the mountains, breathtaking.

Amazingly beautiful!!! Very beautiful views like this little hidden gem meadow we found at the top of a side road. Convenient LARGE campsites. Many, many bodies of water to choose from! So many trails and twists and turns it would take you weeks to explore or more! Our campsite we found was great! Almost perfect! We will definitely be returning time and time again! Also, if you have an ATV or any... Amazingly beautiful!!! Very beautiful views like this little hidden gem meadow we found at the top of a side road. Convenient LARGE campsites.
