Out of the three camp sites we chose along White Rim, this one was by far our favorite. Murphy A is a large site, situated atop a cliff. It is large enough for multiple groups, and the views are spectacular. There is one pit toilet between the two sites (Murphy A & B).

Best view from a campsite is campsite A on White Rim. The views are incredible. The campsite is plenty large with pit toilet. The dirt is shallow and tent stakes are difficult at best.

Spent the night there in late September, the views were great. Sunrise that morning was spectacular!

This camp ground has beautiful views in all directions. Campsite A has the best sunrise views of the three. However B and C can't be beat for the sunsets. One of my favorite campsites in Canyonlands National Park. I would suggest staying during a new moon. Millions of stars are visible.

Most awe inspiring, panoramic view of hundreds of square miles in Canyonlands National Park of any campground experience in my lifetime. You are perched on a mesa adjacent to sheer cliffs providing a 360 view. Not recommended for sleep walkers.
