Nice place with tons of shade. Campsites are very close together. No hiking trails or anything. There is access to the river from some of the campsite.

We stayed here for girls camp, sites 16, 17, 18 these are all together, but they are apart from the rest of the campground so you have a nice little secluded place, with your own private beach--it's right along the river. It's so beautiful. So shady--all day long! And very well kept and very clean. Kathy is the nicest and so helpful! Told us everything we needed to know and offered to help in any... There's a park about 1 minute up the road, where we did yoga, right next to a stream. The town is 15 minutes away. Hyrum Reservoir is 20 minutes away. Truly the best place I've camped!

It's a beautiful place and it has toilets, but no running water. My biggest problem with this place is the river; why you might ask? Because right before you go across the river there's a short path that goes directly into the water. I almost fell into the raging rapids, then it almost happened to my youngest and my middle child. That spot is definitely a hazard.

good campsites, many on the water. we were in site 15 which was nice and did have water access but some other sites were even better as far as water access and general layout go. camp host was SO friendly and kept the bathrooms clean! good location near some key trailheads. great fly fishing. $9/bundle cash for firewood. huge caveat - we heard gunshots both in the morning (around 8am) and evening... good campsites, many on the water. we were in site 15 which was nice and did have water access but some other sites were even better as far as water access and general layout go. camp host was SO friendly and kept the bathrooms clean! good location near some key trailheads. great fly fishing. $9/bundle cash for firewood. huge caveat - we heard gunshots both in the morning (around 8am) and evening (around 7pm) both friday and saturday. this was NOT ideal as we have a sensitive dog (he doesn’t like fireworks or gunshots). they weren’t loud shots as we were pretty far away from wherever they came from, and they were certainly not coming from the campground, but if someone had warned me of it i would not have booked here.

This is a hidden gem up Blacksmith Canyon. The sites are spaced apart and far enough from the road you wouldn't know you are 15 minutes from civilization. The camp hosts are attentive and keep things looked after. Would recommend for a great campground
