We arrived on the second week of September, The last weekend before it closed for the season. The camp ground was beautiful as the autumn leaves were turning. From camp, we traveled to Bear Lake for dinner and to Logan to the Farmers Market. Closer to camp was the road to Tony's Grove, just one mile South and the road to Franklin Basin was just a few miles to the North. Both were breath taking. The camp hosts, Rusty and Tina really made the experience for us. They showed us to their favorite campsite, right on the Logan River. They were so friendly and accommodating. They helped us set up and fill out the registration fee card. Over the two days we had several pleasant conversations with them. I was really impressed with how well they maintained the campground. The pit toilets were clean and freshly painted. There was not a speck of litter in the whole campground. They couldn't have been better "Host" and again, they really made the experience a delight for us. The first photo was the view from our camp trailer, camp site. The second photo was from Franklin Basin. The Quaken Aspen and fall colors were splendid.

Mid-to-late summer this location is awesome. There are a number of Riverside locations and it's very peaceful. If you're looking for fishing you can't fish this part of the river until after the second weekend in July. Currently it is $8 to come in for day use and $20 to stay overnight.

This is the cleanest, most well kept campground I have stayed at. Julie was an amazing host. She lent us some fire starting material, had firewood chopped for us, and was always around to chat or give recommendations. She even cleaned the pit toilets 3 times a day- cleaniest campground facilities I’ve ever seen. Great experience!

LOVED this campground! It's first come, first serve, so make sure to come early to ensure you have a spot. It's right next to a river, so you can fish. I love sleeping next to the river because of the white noise. It's well maintained, clean, has bathrooms, dog-friendly and has room for RVs and tent campers. Highly recommend!
