Great campground well situated adjacent to the Slick Rock Trail and multiple 4wheel drive routes. Big sites well spaced with picnic tables and fire pits.

Camping, trails and miles of beautiful country to explore. Close to everything. Large hill in and out is fun to ride bikes on too. You can ride to town if you have the legs to get back. Emtb everything in Moab. Don’t let kids who just started riding influence you otherwise. They’re scared of speed. The blm doesn’t follow the rules, you don’t have to.

The scenery is beautiful and worth the washboard road! Just take it slow and steady. There are plenty of places to stop and sight see or take off road adventures to the highest degree along with places for a potty break. I recommend taking plenty of water and sunscreen with a camera ready to go! We even saw a Great Basin Gopher snake crossing the road! Yikes... Lol!

Dispersed Camping 16 miles north of MOAB. Across from the Airport. Road is rough, but cars to big RV’s go down it. Trails to hike and 4WD offroading. Stay on the trails. Take out what you take in please! Watch the Antelope, Hot Air Balloons and Sky Diving.

Mostly excellent. Would be nice if they wiped off the picnic tables a bit, as to not have old catsup on them. But beautiful place, mostly clean, nice restrooms and showers.

Great site, right next to the lake. Restrooms are clean & easily accessible. Showers are high pressure. My only dislike is that there is a frequent, not constant, but often enough to be off-putting, sewage smell. The site is very pet friendly as well.

2025 update: Not too much has changed at this camp. Still really dry. They did pave the extra car parking that was by the dumpster on the south side of camp which was nice. The skunks were really bad this year. you couldn't leave any food out at night ,including garbage bags or boxes of food, they tear into them. We lost 8 Twinkies and four fun size bags of chips and one night. Lake was nice and... 2025 update: Not too much has changed at this camp. Still really dry. We lost 8 Twinkies and four fun size bags of chips and one night. Lake was nice and high this July. Original: Pretty dry. Gets pretty hot. There is running water and power outlets at all of the campsites. There are flushing toilets and showers. The lake was pretty high this year in 2022. So, it's not that far of a walk to get to the water from the tents. In 2021 the lake was 30% full. It was a good 5 minutes to get to the beach last year.
