I thinks this is crap i pay taxes and fees to camp in the canyon and when i come up on the deer or elk hunt all the gates are closed. About 10 years ago they where open i don't see the problem with keeping them open tell after the hunts it is just one month. If the management group that you have running them are closing them get rid of them.

Nice little campground with clean bathrooms. I would give it a 5-star if it wasn’t so close to the main road.

Last weekend of June and the water wasn't working. As others have reported it was pretty close to the road so you heard cars all day long - not the best when you are trying to get away. We had a great spot within the camp though - spot 20. It felt secluded from everyone else.

This is a great place to make your base camp if you like hiking or riding ATVs. There are two different ATV trail entrances nearby to get you up onto the Cedar Hollow Loop, which is a really awesome place to ride. This whole area is very beautiful all year round!

One of the best places we have camped. The campground is fcfs, so we lucked out on being able to find an open spot. Make sure to bring cash to claim your spot. I'm usually super weird about campground bathrooms because they're usually pretty gross but these bathrooms were surprisingly clean. The camp host was extremely friendly and stopped by for a quick friendly chat then was on his way. We stay... One of the best places we have camped. We stayed in spot 8 which had PLENTY of room for our camp and UTV trails were about a 10 minute drive away. Will definitely be back.
