Bluff is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Utah weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for Bluff.
Don't miss local attractions near Bluff. Ask the camp host for hidden gems and trails.

Great campground well situated adjacent to the Slick Rock Trail and multiple 4wheel drive routes. Big sites well spaced with picnic tables and fire pits.

Camping, trails and miles of beautiful country to explore. Close to everything. Large hill in and out is fun to ride bikes on too. You can ride to town if you have the legs to get back. Emtb everything in Moab. Don’t let kids who just started riding influence you otherwise. They’re scared of speed. The blm doesn’t follow the rules, you don’t have to.

The scenery is beautiful and worth the washboard road! Just take it slow and steady. There are plenty of places to stop and sight see or take off road adventures to the highest degree along with places for a potty break. I recommend taking plenty of water and sunscreen with a camera ready to go! We even saw a Great Basin Gopher snake crossing the road! Yikes... Lol!

Dispersed Camping 16 miles north of MOAB. Across from the Airport. Road is rough, but cars to big RV’s go down it. Trails to hike and 4WD offroading. Stay on the trails. Take out what you take in please! Watch the Antelope, Hot Air Balloons and Sky Diving.

Dispersed site at high elevation in the aspen surrounded by lava flows. No on-site information, picnic tables or toilet when I went. Was rainy and cold when I went - if you go with tent camping, pack layers and practice starting a fire with wet wood/bring your own supplies. No cell service for me here, so download any maps and send your messages prior to arrival. I personally loved this site, b... Dispersed site at high elevation in the aspen surrounded by lava flows. Pack the right gear and it's amazing - I've never camped with an 9 foot high lava flow right by my campsite. Super cool.

The Duck Creek area is always beautiful and a welcome relief from the heat in the summer. The only real issue is that it has become increasingly popular over the last few years and can be difficult to find a good spot unless you go up early in the week.

I'm from Nevada and this is one of my favorite places to camp in the summer. My only complaint is that people throw large amounts of toilet paper in the bushes everywhere. I have a silly little youtube channel called Adrenaline Jackie where I pick up litter with my dogs but I really don't enjoy picking up people's nasty wet wipes. Please bring a few bags with you to throw the TP in! There's a... I'm from Nevada and this is one of my favorite places to camp in the summer. I have a silly little youtube channel called Adrenaline Jackie where I pick up litter with my dogs but I really don't enjoy picking up people's nasty wet wipes. Please bring a few bags with you to throw the TP in! There's a True Value hardware store 2 miles or so away that really has everything you need if you forget anything for your trip. They also have a good selection of groceries for a small town store. Some of the roads in this camping area are pretty rough for a regular car. I think the roads are passable with a normal car and some driving skills in most areas but be prepared to turn around or back up for a while. If you must bring a car, just take your time and be mindful of how high your car is so you don't rip the front off. Have fun!

This is what we saw when arriving. We promptly left as there was sheep and what they leave behind everywhere. Feel bad for the campers that returned to their camper to find this if it happened while they were gone and unaware.

What a beautiful place. Unfortunately I did not get any pics but wow it was quiet and beautiful. Bout 1.5miles up road is Duck Creek Village. You gotta stop by that little town for atv rentals( a+ outfitters was awesome) and there is a little coffee shop you gotta stop at!! We are in a 35ft 5th wheel reflection and had no problems!!
