I haven't been in Snow Canyon for over 30 years. I'm not even sure it was a park at that time. It's more beautiful than I remember. The campground is a complete gem. The campground is a complete gem. Beauty in every direction - literally. It's all paved. Some of the sites with electrical hookups are very close together and narrow. They have a covered picnic table and a wood-burning grill. The structure that covers the table has one rock wall that provides a little more privacy, and a light that can be switched on and off that I thought was a very nice touch. When we first arrived, not having reservations, we were driving around the campground to see what was available. The first area we went to was the area that had no hookups and we used the bathroom there. It was New Year's Day night and clearly no one was working because it was not clean. Speaking of no one working, the signage was a little confusing. We almost left because we just weren't sure what was available and how long we could stay. We were headed out, in fact. But we decided to turn around. Even if it were just for one night, we were going to make the best of it. Wow! Am I glad we did! The other bathroom was much cleaner. The park ranger who helped me get registered was super nice. Because we don't have an immediate neighbor at our campsite, I can't think of a better place to stay in this area.

One of the bathrooms has an outlet in case you need to plug something in. Camphosts were very friendly too. I really enjoyed my stay.

You probably don't hear this too often about a campground but the staff and their customer service was delightful. They were very sweet and tried to be accommodating. The hubs and I booked a tent only location (H4) and did not realize that meant "walk-in" with your camp gear. We chatted with the staff and they kindly moved us to a more accessible site that we could easily move our car camping gear... This campground is so CLEAN, organized, great showers, hygienic bathrooms, and the bike path near the park made this a wonderful visit. We'll absolutely be back!

We love this campground! The hookup RV sites in the middle of the parking lot were close together and not my favorite, but there are tons of sites around the edges that have beautiful scenery and privacy. Snow Canyon is absolutely worth the stop and has many family friendly areas (kids loved the lava tubes!) to explore.

Snow Canyon is breathtaking. There are bathrooms and showers in the campground and is less than 10 minutes from town in case you need food and supplies. Beautiful state park and one of the nicer campgrounds in Utah.
