This is definitely made for avid ATV people. I would not recommend if you are looking for a quiet retreat. Not a spot I'll park my RV again, pricy for the quality.

Perfect for spending a couple days exploring Cedar Breaks and the surrounding area. Easy online reservations and confirmation email. Nice gravel, #3 was a perfectly level site. Easy walk to the general store and restaurants, plus a nice trail through the forest to Aspen Mirror Lake. Lots of ATV traffic, but that's what a lot of people are here to do so it wasn't unexpected. Definitely recommend!

This was a nice place to stay with all the hook ups for the trailer/RV. Had wildlife walk right by our trailer door and also a short walk to a fishing spot. My daughters had a wonderful time exploring. Perfect for a base camp and then sight see from there. We did Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Navajo Lake, Panguitch Lake and had a great time. Not too long of a drive! Beautiful Scenery.

We just loved our 2 night stay at Dark Skies RV Campground! From being greeted by Ken who escorted us in his golfcart to our camp site with a private rustic wood shade area including 2 lounge chairs, 2 tables, 2 chairs and a propane medal fire pit for our use, was so delightful. You can see the north rim of the Grand Canyon from the grounds. The little store they have is well appointed, the owners and camp hosts were friendly and helpful and the camp cat, Clea, was a sweet heart. We rented one of the Roxors and enjoyed a trip through some of the local POIs with our pups tagging along. The camp is so nice that you really don’t need to leave if you don’t want to and, if you venture out in the middle of the night for a quick star viewing or a puppy potty break, you just may hear some of the local wildlife howling in the distance. This is an amazing little spot in the desert and we will be making this an annual tradition! Our second trip is planned in just about a month from now. I’m excited to see the updates they’ve made since the last time we were there. Absolutely would recommend staying here! I’m just sorry it took me a year to submit a review for this place.

This is probably the best campground we have ever visited. They have a cookout/social on Thursday evenings for everyone. We met owner and they try to upgrade or add something each year. Spacious pull through sites with full hookups. Covered picnic tables at each site, pet friendly with a dog park. Lots of amenities. They also have special events such as photography classes that you can sign up for... This is probably the best campground we have ever visited.
