My campsite for the night in the beautiful Mt. Carmel, Twin Hollows Campground. Free dispersed camping on BLM land. Hear how quiet it is out here. And, look at this cool natural tunnel at the entrance of the campground! It's called Belly of the Devil! I'm going to have to get me some hiking buddies for safety reasons. I hiked through it but I slipped a time or two on the loose sand and slick sands... My campsite for the night in the beautiful Mt. Carmel, Twin Hollows Campground. Free dispersed camping on BLM land. I can't afford in any way to get hurt out here by myself. It was worth it though! Quite a few places to camp from what I can see. If you’re on an Atv or UTV get in there! So worth it! Ignore the private land signs they’ll turn into public road going through public land signs. A lot of cool views and a very used off road area by the local community don’t worry!

I only gave 4-stars because the campground was a pain to find! Once I did, I enjoy my two nights there. It is close to Zion's east entrance which has a closed campground, so camping was limited. It is a very sandy area so be careful when selecting your spot. This place has a name, and that name shows on Google Maps. However, it is not identifiable from the road. There is no sign for Twin Holl... I only gave 4-stars because the campground was a pain to find! Once I did, I enjoy my two nights there. Driving northbound on Hwy 89, when you see the sign for Belly of the Dragon, turn left. If your GPS tells you your destination is on the left and you only see the Belly of the Dragon sign, turn. That small area is the campground.

Great place, peaceful, hiking in the general area. Definitely get there early because it will fill up. Wear sunscreen! Scope out a pee spot before picking your camp area and pick up after yourself!

Once the side by sides go through, it's quiet. You might get hear a dog bark briefly. Not a big deal. Road it well maintained, great for cycling, and walking. You can access the tunnel (walking only) from the parking lot. It's quite the drop in. Most can do just fine. Getting out, well if you're very short and not as flexible or strong it can be a bit challenging. There is a couple ways to get out... Once the side by sides go through, it's quiet. Well worth the effort. The sites range from small to big enough for the bigger rigs. Easy in easy out in many. If you are lucky, you can find a nice spot along the very low river. Best thing, free. You need to be self contained. No porta potties or facilities of any kind. BLM land boondocking!
