Boy, this is my favorite campsite. It is the closest to the little hole takeout, so whenever I float the Green River, this is where I want to camp. It can be busy, so definitely book in advance or test your luck hoping that there will be availability. The campground is clean, people are friendly, including the hosts, they have campfire wood, and it's just awesome. You can see the stars. I was luck... Boy, this is my favorite campsite. It can be busy, so definitely book in advance or test your luck hoping that there will be availability. The campground is clean, people are friendly, including the hosts, they have campfire wood, and it's just awesome. You can see the stars. I was lucky enough to see the northern lights from here. It's a great campsite. The one downside I will say is it is a bit windy, and every single time without fail that I go there, coyotes are howling through the night. It is kind of cool to listen to them though. Anyways, I would highly recommend. I would also recommend floating the Green River in addition.

Our activity started on the Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam. Easy access to our destination. Campground bathrooms were clean and well maintained other facilities were similarly maintained. For activities in this area, I would recommend this campground and stay here in the future.

Great campground for fishing the Green River. iIdeally located between little hole and dam. Lee, the campground host, does a great job of making sure your site is prepared and keeps the facilities clean. Can’t wait to come back soon.

Lee and Julie, camp host are back! Best host ever! Have camped here for 40 + years and so glad that Lee and Julie are back! Closest campground to fish and float the A section of the Green below Flaming Gorge dam. Camp here 4 to 6 times a year! 👌❤️

Very peaceful location. Clean and well-kept campsites. You can hear the coyotes sing into the night. The stars are incredible. Beautiful desert sunsets and sunrises. Feels super remote but easy access to boat launch areas for fishing. Close to gas station and raft rental company. Overall, a great place to camp and enjoy the area. Highly recommend.
