Frying pan is a small camp ground at Fish lake. There are only 10 spots, 4 reservable the others are first come. Some are in Quakies. One large group site. No electricity or sewer. Water spicket at every 3rd spot. Has running water rest rooms that are clean and kept well. If you dont mind roughing it a bit this is the place.

It was a decent campground. The sites were well spaced out. Our site (4) had good shade from the Aspens. Most seemed to not have very much shade. At 8800 feet elevation, it stays cool most of the year. We enjoyed our camping experience.

The group site was spacious with plenty of room to park your camp trailer/RV and a flat field to pitch your tent in. Not too much shade but the weather was cool anyway (low 70’s). There are quite a few cow pies spread around so be sure to bring a shovel. The restroom close to the trailer parking smelled.
