Went during peak season, double the price of off peak. This is supposed to be because the water is on. Unfortunately both water heaters did not work. They also had removed the wood burning stove, which took much of the charm away. Still a great location though. Good place to just relax.

Pine Valley Guard Station is run by kind and efficient staff. The prices for visiting the area are reasonable, and the wait to get into the park is relatively short. We went hiking on well maintained trails, but I also saw people on horseback and biking. There seems to be spots for camping as well. Don’t worry too much about parking as there seems to be ample space for this. I highly recommend vis... Pine Valley Guard Station is run by kind and efficient staff. So beautiful wish I could give it more but there is an ecoli outbreak in the water supply so it is a dry camping sight for now. No showering, brushing teeth with the tap water or cooking. With that said, you should not be discuraged from using this site; bring plenty of water with you and you would still be able to make a go of it.
