It's such a beautiful area, and so well maintained on 30 minutes out of St George. The little reservoir is stocked with fish and our grandkids all caught a couple, and it was just a super, lovely wholesome, camping and fishing weekend. Oh, and they have this wonderful paved bike path that goes on and on... Next time, I'll definitely bring bikes or scooters for the kids, too.

Just absolutely breathtaking out here. Such a wonderful difference from the other nearby parks which are more like dry rocks. So much greenery and a gorgeous river that runs through. Perfect for a walk in some cooler weather on the hotter summer days. Put your feet in the freezing cold river for a refresher. It didn't look very big to me from the map view but it's a good size to drive around befor... Just absolutely breathtaking out here. It didn't look very big to me from the map view but it's a good size to drive around before picking a good spot. Parking is cash only put in an envelope outside the park. Watch out for snakes! If you are in the area and are unsure of going, this is your sign saying to go. I almost didn't and now that I know what it's like out there, I would have regretted it sooo bad if I didn't go. It's truly so beautiful and peaceful.

Current condition of area has been destroyed due to fire and flooding. Looks like a couple years before it will be able to rebuild and reopen.

Pine Valley offers some truly majestic mountain scenery just a short drive from St George - a great respite from the heat in the warmer months and a great place for fall foliage when the lower elevations are still baking. There is a great network of paved walking trails that circle the reservoir. A great number of locals fish here - from what I could tell they were catching quite a bit!

Gorgeous valley with lots of water and green meadows. Wonderful place if you like to fish or go for a peacefully walk. If you like to dip feet in the creek as you enjoy sunset ,it will do as well. Much cooler than surrounding area but summer tends to be over 90F up there. By end of the summer there is tons of cows wondering around meadow. They make a bit of noise at night but it's quickly forgotte... Gorgeous valley with lots of water and green meadows. Wonderful place if you like to fish or go for a peacefully walk.
