My friends and I recently stayed here and the host was super nice and checked on us to make sure we had enough firewood. We were right by the river which was a lovely spot and I honestly didn’t hear many cars in the night due to the river noises. I loved the amount of birds around and if you’re lucky you might even see beavers or deer. I was a bit disappointed by the restrooms being out of order,... I was a bit disappointed by the restrooms being out of order, but there were porta potties available which worked great. Overall a gem if you’re in the Logan area or even want to take a trip up there.

Loved all the shade, being near the river, and hearing all the birds. The host was amazing and super informative. Great place to take dogs. The biggest downsides were the highway noise especially in site 1 and the kayakers using the sites as access points to the river. Site 1 is near a nice place for kayakers to launch or to wade in the water but it does mean you have foot traffic through your sit... This miniature paradise in the middle of Logan Valley includes plenty of shade, a bridge over a river, and private access from most campsites to the river behind it. Being right next to a highway is one of its biggest downsides, although that didn't really bother me during my stay, my only real complaint is how difficult the sign is to spot from the highway

Preston Valley is approximately 8.5 miles up Logan Canyon. The highway can be a little annoying (noise). Definitely not a deal breaker. The beautiful Logan River is right there. Last fall I did see a large kitty track in the CG. I just would not let your dogs roam free. Great place to RV or car camp.

Pretty campground, about 13 minute drive away from smiths grocery store. Nice if in need of getting supplies real quick. The only bad part about the campground was the noise from passing cars on the road. Other then that it was a great spot to camp and be by the river. This was campground number 2.
