Compared to the other campsites nearby this one is a lot more fun. The kids can play on the rocks or you can climb up for a nice sunset view. It also provides a little bit of shade.

It’s like camping with the Flinstones! Beautiful red rocks shaped like burgers that you can climb! The views are beautiful. It was very empty in July.. with only one other site occupied. No hookups so need to be self sufficient. $15 fee per night at Dropbox. Half price with senior annual card. So fun!!

Cool primitive BLM campground, nestled against red rock formations with views into Bears Ears National Monument and close to Canyonlands Needles district. Two pit toilets, each campsite has a fire ring & picnic table. No hookups, no water available, no trash receptacles. Pack it in, pack it out. $15/night.

One of the more picturesque campgrounds I've stayed at. Campsites are all located in hollow alcoves within the rock formation so you feel very private with the rocks separating you from the adjacent campers. Fun scrambling for kids (and adults alike). It's popular so spots are limited and first come first serve. There is free BLM camping available too further down the road in the canyon.
