Really nice spot the gal working the office was very friendly and helpful! Got to see horses, walk the memorial path, and hang out in the national forest campground which was closed. Only notes were that it was on the pricier side but its also a remote area and attached to a somewhat ritzy resort so that is understandable. Also chilly, windy, and sleet overnight in October when other places were still warm, guessing it is the altitude!! We checked out Bear Canyon loop trail to the overlook and it was super cool and an easy walk.
