About Bryce Canyon Pines RV Park

Campground in Utah.

Nestled in the heart of Utah's stunning high country, Bryce Canyon Pines RV Park offers an ideal basecamp for exploring one of America's most breathtaking natural wonders. Located in Panguitch, Utah, this RV park sits at an elevation that puts you within striking distance of Bryce Canyon National Park, where otherworldly hoodoo rock formations rise dramatically from the earth in shades of crimson, orange, and cream. The park's location makes it an excellent choice for travelers seeking authentic southwestern scenery without the crowds that can overwhelm more accessible destinations.

The surrounding region is a landscape lover's paradise, characterized by expansive vistas, clean mountain air, and that particular quality of light that makes sunset and sunrise unforgettable experiences. Beyond Bryce Canyon itself, the area offers access to a network of hiking trails that range from leisurely nature walks to more challenging backcountry adventures. Many visitors spend their days exploring the park's rim trails, descending into the canyon itself, or venturing out to lesser-known viewpoints that offer equally stunning perspectives without the visitor volume.

Panguitch serves as a charming mountain town gateway, featuring local restaurants, shops, and services that cater to travelers. The community has maintained its western character while warmly welcoming visitors seeking outdoor adventures. The elevation and location create a temperate climate perfect for summer and early fall travel, with cool evenings that make for comfortable sleeping under the stars.

This destination appeals to a diverse range of travelers. Photographers find endless compositional opportunities in the dramatic geology and changing light. Hikers appreciate the varied terrain and accessible trail systems. Nature enthusiasts and geology buffs find the landscape endlessly fascinating, as the exposed rock layers tell stories spanning hundreds of millions of years. Families enjoy the combination of awe-inspiring scenery with manageable travel distances and outdoor activities suitable for various ages and fitness levels.

Whether you're planning a long stay to thoroughly explore the region or a quick stopover to experience Bryce Canyon National Park, the park's central location and proximity to this geological marvel make it a valuable base for your Utah adventure.

We were very disappointed with the lack of communication to us and apparently between the different branches of the business. Nobody answered the phone when we called the campground, and the campground office was closed when we arrived, so we went to the hotel lobby to book our site. We were looking forward to using the hot tub and laundry facilities and were even given the needed pass codes and hours of each. Tried to use the hot tub 2 hours before it was supposed to close and the dressing rooms were locked. OK, a disappointment, but we will use the hot tub in the morning before we leave. In the morning we went to do our laundry and joined the other couple of campers who were waiting outside in the cold for the laundry room to open. We all stood there for 20 minutes before giving up. So we go to use the hot tub before continuing on our way, and the dressing rooms are still locked. I went to the hotel lobby again to ask what was up. I was informed that both facilities were closed for the season. It would have been nice to have been informed of that last night as/before we were booking! The other thing is that the campground bathrooms/showers really needed a cleaning. It was their slow season and they couldn't even clean the bathrooms?? Super dirty floor, rat nests of hair in the shower, poop inside of the toilet bowl and pee on the seat of the other toilet. Same thing the next day - they had not cleaned. Same poop on the toilet bowl and hair in the drains. The one good thing I will say about the showers is that they were nice and hot! We were desperate for the power hookup as it was a cold night, well below freezing in late November Early December, but would have looked elsewhere if we knew that the hot tub and laundry facilities would have been closed. Very very disappointing. It would have been completely fine if they had just communicated these things ahead of time. Very misleading. After I brought these things up at the front desk in the lobby, I was offered a small discount. I'm glad that they did something to try to make it right but it honestly wasn't enough of a discount for how big of a disappointment this place was.

We had some RV issues, and he went out of his way to provide us with names and phone numbers for local resources. Off-season camping can be hit or miss, but this campground truly exceeded expectations—especially when many places aren’t even open. Easily a 5-star stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent customer service! Missy and Scooter are wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our RV site was beautiful, fully equipped, and peaceful. The restrooms and showers were sparkling clean with plentiful hot water! And there's laundry facilities. Everything the road-weary traveler needs!

We made this request 24 hours before we wanted to leave. The is no cancellation/refund policy on their website, on their confirmation email or their general info park rule sheet they hand out. None of their employees or even the manager we talked with knew the "policy". We were told a week, 3 days, 48 hours. Then it's 48 hours. Humm. We liked the campground, but the whole refund request left a bad taste. It would have been different if they had a written policy "somewhere".

Great spot super close to Bryce. Water pumps at the individual spots get shut off during winter, but you can still fill up your RV at the front. Hot showers.
