About Panguitch Lake General Store and RV Park

Campground in Utah.

Nestled in the scenic high country of southern Utah, Panguitch Lake General Store and RV Park offers RV travelers an ideal basecamp for exploring some of the region's most stunning natural attractions. Situated at elevation along Utah Highway 143, this property provides convenient access to some of Utah's most celebrated outdoor destinations while offering essential services and supplies for your camping adventure.

The Panguitch Lake area is known for its crisp mountain air, beautiful forests, and peaceful surroundings that make it a refreshing escape from the heat of lower elevations. The location is particularly appealing during summer and fall months when travelers seek cooler temperatures and want to experience Utah's diverse landscapes without the crowds found at some of the state's most famous parks. The nearby Panguitch Lake itself is a natural draw for fishing enthusiasts and those who simply want to enjoy serene water views surrounded by pine forests.

What makes this park especially valuable is its on-site general store, which stocks supplies and provisions that prove invaluable when you're staying in a remote mountain location. Rather than making long drives down the mountain for forgotten items or last-minute needs, you'll have convenient access to essentials right at your park. This practical amenity makes the experience more comfortable and allows you to spend more time enjoying the outdoors and less time running errands.

The broader Panguitch area serves as a gateway to some of Utah's most iconic red rock country and national parks. Within reasonable driving distance, you'll find opportunities to explore diverse landscapes, from high elevation forests to dramatic canyon formations. The region appeals to RV travelers who want to experience Utah's natural beauty while maintaining a quieter, less developed camping experience. Families, outdoor enthusiasts, couples seeking peaceful mountain retreats, and anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature will find this location particularly rewarding. The combination of convenient services, beautiful surroundings, and access to broader regional attractions makes Panguitch Lake General Store and RV Park a smart choice for your Utah RV adventure.

Great store. Very clean, very organized, lots of different options. I’d recommend carrying yogurt. Helps with sunburns. Staff is very friendly and so are the locals that hang out around there. We always feel very welcomed. I’d highly recommend not selling Ben & Jerry’s ice cream because they don’t stand for America.

My daughter had a heavy bloody nose for 30 minutes before we pulled into their parking lot. Tina went above and beyond to help us with supplies and calling the local EMT for advice. She delayed her close to make sure my daughter was ok. When you are traveling, such an experience can be scarey but her assistance made us feel like we were with a family friend during the ordeal. Thank you again!!!

Never found a nicer community, where you could camp. Beautiful surroundings, where you can wake and drive to the local establishment. chili cheese dogs, or biscuits and gravy.
