Beautiful place. I recommend to go there with a tour (maybe from Tripadvisor). Because of going. Through a tour, I could take photos near the bisons and know about the history of this beautiful place (we could even see owls in a ranch there). If you want to go by yourself, be aware that bisons may be dangerous; it depends on how you get closer to them. Outstanding landscapes and views.

Loved visiting Antelope island! We went in February and saw 4 herds of bison. We went all the way to the barn and talked to a very volunteer and learned all about the history of the pioneers that first moved here. The lake is super low which looks funny but there are still gorgeous views. Definitely worth a visit.

Such a beautiful drive! My bf and I loved our time at antelope island. There was a fee to come in but its per vechile. We saw so much bison everywhere. The island is beautiful. The scenery is insane. Loved our afternoon here. It was time well spent.

Where Nature Meets the Salt Dream 🦬🌅 During our weekend stay in Ogden, Utah, we decided to explore Antelope Island State Park, and it was absolutely worth it! We purchased tickets at the entrance and spent the entire day exploring this vast, wild, and breathtaking park. You can drive through most of it, stopping at key highlights like Painted Bison Sculpture, Buffalo Point Trailhead, and Antelope Island Marina each offering unique views of the lake and wildlife. If the weather is good, don’t miss the chance to step into the Great Salt Lake the water feels silky, slightly oily, and incredibly clear, almost crystal-like! The park is well maintained with clear signage, multiple parking areas, and restrooms scattered throughout. The landscapes are open, peaceful, and truly powerful nature in its rawest form. 🦋 We spotted bison, birds, spiders, and even a few scorpions along the trails so wear good walking shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water. 📸 Perfect for photographers, nature lovers, and road-trippers looking for that surreal Utah experience. #AntelopeIsland #GreatSaltLake #UtahParks #NatureVibes #RoadTripUSA #LifeOfANomad #StateSignHunter

Absolutely loved the scenic landscape. The bison were chill and just being bison. We didn't see any other animals except coyote and birds, but we do plan to visit again and see more of the island. The water reflecting the mountains was a unique sight. It was a rainy day so the roads weren't busy at all. My first state park visit in Utah this year and it was a nice visit. Being that it is nature, there were a ton of 🦟 mosquitoes. Got a couple bites, but still worth the trip. Note: There was a small place to visit for the temporary visitor center because the main one is under construction. They have your souvenir needs and if you love signs, they have the state park sign nearby!
