Nice campground with or without water and electricity, you are close to the water on every site. Clean showers and flush toilet area and compost toilets throughout the campground, playground, and swimming area for the public for a small fee. Flush site and dumpster near the check-in area. No trash cans at the campsites, so bring a can and pick up after yourself.

Beach (with sand when they let the water down in fall), picnic area, boat ramp and kayak put in. Pit toilets and no water tap in the area by the shore (I'm sure the camping has water, but I haven't camped there). Very quiet on weekdays. Popular on weekends. Law enforcement is usually on site.

I went there for the first time recently. I've been to numerous ramps and parks all over Kerr lake and this one is on par with the nicest ones available. Being up in Buffalo creek is a great place to put in with quick access to great fishing. It has decent bathrooms for boaters and I checked out the camping area, definitely a Place I'd like to camp out sonetime!

Great campground! My first time there. Excellent views, clean bathrooms, hot water, Water access, decent sized sites, dog friendly, boat ramp, park, great catfish fishing. We don't usually like sunny campsites, but we would definitely come back here. Sites are large enough for two-three tents, outhouses are clean, and the shower houses are very nice. Friendly staff too. We loved having lake access from the campsite and it was so relaxing to listen to the lake. It was very rocky, but we made do. I would recommend bringing a canopy Because there is no shade at any of... We don't usually like sunny campsites, but we would definitely come back here. I would recommend bringing a canopy Because there is no shade at any of the waterfront campsites. This place is also great for stargazing and the Staunton River State Park nearby is a certified Dark Sky park.
