Super friendly staff, and extremely helpful. Had a tire blow out when I arrived, and the maintenance manager helped swap it out in under 10 min. Sites are pretty level compared to other locations I have stayed. Super grateful I was referred this place.

My wife and I stayed at Camptown from May to August in 2021 while my wife worked as a travel nurse in Richmond. I would recomened Camptown to anyone staying in the area. It is well maintained, conveniently located and has everything you need, including community. Previous reviewers have mentioned how much they appreciated the owner, staff and other guests staying at Camptown, and we felt the same... It is well maintained, conveniently located and has everything you need, including community. Previous reviewers have mentioned how much they appreciated the owner, staff and other guests staying at Camptown, and we felt the same during our time there. They are amazing people, and they made us feel at home. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely visit again.

Love love love the owner. She is a very sweet and nice person. The campground is very clean and spacious. The dumpster is never over flowing nor nasty. Everyone that’s camping out here are also nice . If I could rate this campground higher I definitely would.

I have camped all over the country. You will NOT find better people than Judy and her assistant Dave. The property is flawless ... clean and very well equipped. You will not be disappointed.
