North Campground - Meadow Event Park

Ok so we just went to the Doswell light shows last night and I wanted to share our experience. I highly recommend it! My 1 and 2 year old loved it! We went on a Wednesday night and we got there right when it opened (opens at 5:30 we were there at 5:36). There was absolutely no line which surprised and was awesome. We went a little faster than I wanted it to (my husband drove and he wouldn't listen... Ok so we just went to the Doswell light shows last night and I wanted to share our experience. I definitely recommend taking your time! At the end we went to the Santa workshop and there was so much for them to do! There were bounce houses, train rides, mechanical rides, pictures with Santa and more. The kids ran through everything and loved it! I highly recommend. Bring cash for the mechanical rides and definitely check out all the little booths with local businesses.

We attended the Revenge Roughstock Rodeo Company where they brought the action back with Bulls, Barrels, and Broncs! Really great time, food vendors on site (absolutely delicious and priced well, even the kiddos enjoyed. Seating is great from every vantage point, bring some blankets, towels, stadium cushions, etc if you need some support. Extremely well lit, parking easy very easy both upon entry...
