First it's a primitive site. Very nice pipe corrals, but very wet, no drainage. The trails are nice some easy some hard. Has a pit toilet so that's nice. Bring water for your horse and self. Stunning place to stay. when peace is needed. I went on the buddy system with a friend, we had a good time, even in the rain.

The White Cedar Horse Camp is a really neat rugged recreation area in the Appalachians with thoughtful amenities for horses. Each campsite has water (not sure if it's potable) and a corral for your mount. There's not much else here though. You'll find a single hole-in-the-ground style toilet and fire rings, and a lot of trails. Come prepared to be self-sufficient.
