Campground basically backs onto the Greenbrier bicycle Rail to Trail path. Deer, deer, deer and more deer visit the campground morning and evening to eat the apples from the trees. The yellow flowers that encompass the campground are stunning when in bloom. The campground is very accessible for rigs of all sizes. Sites are flat. There is no bathhouse, which is more than fine. There is a laundry facility, Bubbles just a couple of blocks away, walkable. The Verizon signal is strong. No wifi or cable. Full hookups, firepit and large picnic table. I wish more campgrounds were like this! The town is also walkable from the campground. The weekly flyover from the Airforce Jets was always fun to watch. The campground is such a great hub to visit the surrounding areas of Snowshoe, Cass Historic Railway, Green Bank Telescope and several state parks. The owner of the campground is such a nice guy, would definitely stay there again if back in this area.

Amazing stay!!! My partner were here for a little over a month on travel medical jobs, and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay. You are within walking distance of everything in town (10 minutes or so to the opposite side), including ice cream, bike rentals, and the Greenbriar Trail. Deer are wandering most mornings. Such a beautiful outdoor space. Everything worked as expected. Brian is... Amazing stay!!! This was absolutely the best place to camp while day tripping the area and riding the Greenbrier Rail Trail! The sites were huge with plenty of space for privacy if that is your thing. You can ride your bike directly from your campsite to the trail in seconds. There is a bike shop in and old grocery store a couple of blocks down the street that will transport you and your bikes to most anywhere on the trail which works great. The trail itself is well maintained with places to eat right on the trail.

Brand new little campground with full hookups right in town. We were originally going to go stay in one of the Forest Campgrounds but the woman at the visitors center recommended this place. Brian was extremely friendly and we loved it. Also walking distance to the wonderful Old Mountain Tavern. Going to put a small review video of this Campground on my YouTube so check me out at NoNonsenseKno... Brand new little campground with full hookups right in town.
