Beautiful area especially with the snow. The lodge room was very nice. The heater was a bit loud but kept the room warm. The restaurant was good and convenient. All staff were wonderful and helpful. Went on the first day hike on New Year's Day!

We have stayed at the Lodge at Tygart Lake many times and have always been very pleased. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The restaurant serves family friendly meals that are very reasonably priced with portions large enough to take some home 😊.

It’s a state park so yes, it’s out there but it’s worth the drive. A room was spacious and clean great view of the lake. We went in the fall so the water was low, but still beautiful. We had a delicious breakfast at the lake Lodge restaurant. The service was fast, friendly.

We didn’t stay in the lodge, just stopped by to look at the gift shop and get some info for the area. The front desk lady was really friendly and the view/dining area was very nice. We went up to the dam to get our picture with the almost heaven swing.
