Port Angeles is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

If you value your life and your property you should avoid this place like the plague!!!! I stayed there for 5 years and had my car and my truck smashed by falling branches and trees falling down when the wind blows or ice or snow. I finally had enough and got out of there. What a nightmare. Also multiple holes in my roof from falling branches. The guy across the road had his trailer smashed totall... Thank God he wasn't there or he would have been dead.

We stayed over July 3-5 to escape the firework noise...nope. Maybe a bit quieter than in town, but not much. This is a very basic campground, pretty quiet and low-key. It's mostly RVs, and most of the 40 sites are booked year round for permanent residents. Reservations are mandatory. There's no tent camping at the moment, but there are tent sites and group sites. It is very close in to Battle Ground and Ridgefield. minute drive from Vancouver. It's the closest campground besides Battle Ground Lake I've been to! Camp hosts are super nice and friendly.

This is the most gorgeous campsite I've ever been to in my life! The tall trees remind me of Muir Woods. It's like being in a forest. Every RV site has a picnic table and trashcan. We lucked out when we didn't make reservations far enough in advance. All other campsites in Vancouver and Portland area were booked and I left messages with several RV parks. Dan returned my call and reserved the last spot for us. I feel sad to leave because our future reservations aren't in as nice accommodations. We'll definitely return in the future. Caveat: there is no laundromat. Also, I learned from another camper (most likely a tent camper) that the showers didn't have hot water one morning and the office hadn't opened yet.

I have stayed here several times and just love it!!! The manager Dan and his family are wonderful people, the natural setting is so relaxing, and the campground is close to Ridgefield and Battle Ground with easy access to major roads.

Secluded amongst the huge trees. A little tight getting in and out with our 31 foot 5er. But totally doable. Water pressure was fairly low or it would be 5 stars for location and seclusion.
