Way Kool place. Nice little hike from the trail Head. Places to pull off the trail and view. Bring a light coat and flashlight. It was a hot morning and the cave was nice and cool. Good size walk thru cave. I went thru and then reversed back thru to make sure I didn't miss anything. Worth the visit. Pass and reservation required. No pets in cave.

Large parking lot maintained by Rangers. $5 for parking for EVERY vehicle (regardless of whether or not you have a Discover Pass). Small steady incline of a hike to the cave, felt like about 1 mile one way, on a wide well-groomed dirt path, but easy enough for young children and the elderly. Inside the cave there is only a few hundred feet of walking but it does get dark enough that you'll need... Inside the cave there is only a few hundred feet of walking but it does get dark enough that you'll need a light. You can hike back the same path you came in or follow the water in the canyon out of the cave, just be aware that way does involve sections with a foot or two of water so be prepared to get your shoes wet.

Boulder Cave is always a fun little hike. Finally got to walk through the cave since it just recently opened back up. If you plan on going remember to bring a flashlight and might want to go earlier in the day since this place closes at 4pm. A beautiful hidden little waterfall and swimming hole is right beyond the cave that you must see! If you go on this hike it's worth checking out. Right before... Right before the trail dips into the cave, keep going straight (off trail) for only about 50' feet. It's hidden behind a boulder. Easy to miss if you don't know it's there.👍

Amazing short hike to a cool cave. Like others have said if you go straight right before the cave turn there is a little waterfall you can have all you yourself. Very kid friendly hike. It goes up for a bit, and it's hot when it's sunny out, so bring water. Cool lizard out there too
