Friendly and helpful staff Campground was awesome! Can tend to get loud and close to a main road but still great. Showers, kitchen sink, and a whole kitchen if you need is on the campground. Lots a trails not too difficult. Great for hiking and biking. Great spot for everyone!

Quiet campground with solid trails surrounding it. The staff are great. Very informative and helpful. Has plenty of bathrooms. Solid showers and a room for borrowing extra cooking utensils and other minor things you might need in a moment. Only 30 min from Portland and hour and half from Tumbledown mountain. So plenty of stuff in the area. Id check out cafe1055 if you want a good breakfest only 16... Quiet campground with solid trails surrounding it. The staff are great. Very informative and helpful. The campground was clean and well kept. The free community kitchen was a great idea Even though I didn't need it for anything. Even the bathrooms were amazingly clean and didn't have a foul odor. The showers have hot water and are free instead of coin operated. The host there was super friendly and very willing to help you with everything you needed. I would definitely come back if I pass through... The campground was clean and well kept. The free community kitchen was a great idea Even though I didn't need it for anything. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is it was pretty much right off the main road so you can hear traffic but otherwise everything else was great.

This campground was just what I was looking for- peaceful and simple. There were a good amount of sites available to choose from. Rangers were always close by checking on things. For a solo female far from home, I felt safe. Showers were hot and clean, there was a little kitchen area with things you could borrow (frying pans, cups, etc.) bathroom was a 20-second walk. Showers were hot and clean, there was a little kitchen area with things you could borrow (frying pans, cups, etc.) bathroom was a 20-second walk. Site had a sturdy picnic table, water spigot and fire pit. $5 bundles of wood were available for purchase, you just had to ask a ranger. The actual state park was right across the street, and cell service was fine. You can hear the traffic from the road but it’s just white noise, I slept great. Also could hear cows mooing in the distance at 2am but it wasn’t bothersome, just funny. Would come back!

I love this park for both hiking and camping. While many of the trails are maintained for bikes, my early morning hikes have never been endangered by riders, and I, in fact, usually only see other hikers.
