Garden was cute but apparently dangerous for kids, the old lady owner warned us some bridges can collapse. One thing to be aware of is make sure when you book your tent it can fit in the spots. We were a family of 4 and the tent took the entire place... Kids were very disappointed we couldn't make a fire as there were no room. No place for a table either. We were packed. They could have warned us when we booked. Toilets were terribly smelly, I did lots of camping and never got that experience. Have to pay a loonie to get 2min hot shower. Overall I recommend for a short stay and make sure your book a spot big enough for your tent.

Pros: The area is close to town with nice trails, and Tyson the host/camp attendant is friendly and responsive. We heard barred owls calling each night which was beautiful. They are undermaintained and underserviced and the smell wafts throughout the campground. The shower is $1 for 2 min. Overall, the campground has trended away from eclectic to more derelict, and could use some important maintenance and repair. For example, half of the back fence of our site was missing and behind it was a drop off, a bunch of wooden palates, and other old bits of metal. The furniture could also use some upgrading. It doesn't need to match or be fancy, I get that the vibe is unique, but our table was made of what seemed to be just a piece of plywood. $60/night was steep for these "amenities". If they had flush toilets (or even just well-maintained, clean pit toilets) and free showers, it would probably be worth it.

I stayed here with my partner for a few nights. After travelling across country, it was a lovely place to stop and spend a few nights while exploring local spots on Salt Spring. The nursery is very beautiful and zen. The outdoor shower is a unique and whimsical feature. We loved our camp spot so much we even extended our stay. Overall we had an amazing time, and will definitely be returning!

Been here twice and was at the N and O site. Privacy wise, I like both. Those sites were also big enough size for 2 tents. Both have water and 15/30 amp access. The only thing is these 2 sites are close to the washroom (outhouse) and can get really smelly. The staff and the service were nice. Would recommend to fam and friends. I would definitely go back again, but surely ask for different site/sp... Been here twice and was at the N and O site. Privacy wise, I like both. Those sites were also big enough size for 2 tents.
