Best sand dunes in the state for hiking and it’s protected from vehicles.

The dunes are wonderful but if you go then hope you don't have to deal with the officers who patrol here. The younger officer is very rude and interprets BLM rules how he sees best to fit his views. After our single interaction with that officer, we won't ever be coming back and will tell everyone to stay away.

I'm a newbie to Kennewick and my new next door neighbor took to this OHV place and I had a blast with my CanAm maverick x3. It is only 20 minutes away from my house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have some fun with family and friends.

This was my first time at juniper dunes and it was so amazing!!! Just never ending trails and a lot of open area to just go crazy, lots of jumps and very nice place to camp if you want to stay for the weekend or longer, and it’s like half hour away from town if you need anything, all the people was very friendly, this is a must do, we’re definitely gonna try to go more often here. Just be prepared to have sand in your shoes and bring some eye protection cause sometimes is windy and you don’t want to have sand in your eyes.
