Room had a table and chairs and a good sized fridge for us to keep drinks. The neighboring restaurant was pricey but delicious. We got takeout twice to enjoy in our room, and ate breakfast on the restaurant patio one morning with our dog by our side. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for those traveling with a medium to large size dog.

We stayed three nights and I didn’t sleep well any of those nights. If you’re visiting to go hiking you want to be well rested and pain free. The location was fine- there’s a couple restaurants walking distance away but it’s up a hill from the marina so you barely see it from your room. I’d say it needs some major updating (and soundproofing) to be worth the price.

A fabulous out of the way spot to stay. If you need the most modern Inn this is not for you. No microwave or coffee in the rooms but available in the lobby. A 30 minute drive to the busyness of Bar Harbor. But we loved the quiet of this location for the mornings and evenings.. Take the taxi to nearby Cranberry Island.

WONDERFUL place to stay away from crowds and visit Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. Restaurant next-door offers decent meals, breakfast was the highlight for us. Clean room, great people at front desk. We were there mid-September and "No Vacancy" was showing most nights. I made our reservations in February and changed dates a little in June with no problem. No coffee machine in-room, no microwave either. Coffee available in office and it was very good.

We stayed in this basic, clean, super convenient hotel for 2-1/2 days and 3 nights during our late September 2025 visit to Acadia National Park. I'm glad we chose Northeast Harbor over Bar Harbor as one of the main activities we had planned was to ride (via e-bikes) the 30+ miles of carriage roads in ANP and we were able to walk 10 minutes to Island Bike Rental and then ride a mile to the start of the trails from the bike shop. As others have mentioned, the rooms are nothing fancy, but they're clean, had comfortable beds, and the views of the harbor are great. It's hard to beat the value of this hotel relative to those in Bar Harbor. Also, the adjacent restaurant serves great breakfast.
