This is for the RV camp ground only as I have never stayed in the cabins but do camp here every year. I Love , love, LOVE this place but it’s important to understand and align your expectations before you stay . It is really , REALLY important to know that this camp ground was made in the 60s and quite possibly has not been renovated since then . As a result the spots are built to accommodate trucks and trailers from that era. Thus leaving limited spacing for today’s double axel RVs and duramax trucks that are today’s must haves. The campground is jam packed and back to back. Some spots labeled as a 25 feet but so difficult to maneuver into you need a much smaller trailer to wiggle in. If you are wanting to stay here , which believe me it is worth the stay just know you can get anxiety during pull in and pull out day. But once in your spot the stay, the view, the cute store and restaurant are all worth it. There is a vibe in the air reminding you of a simpler time and picturesque views 360 degrees around you. Don’t let the lake fool you. The freezing temperatures and calm appearing water has taken the lives of many and should not be underestimated. Life vests are highly recommended even on the warmest days. But nothing , absolutely nothing matches the quiet and soothing sounds of nature. Size up your spot requirements . If you have a 20 Rv , ask for a 25 foot spot . If you have a 25 , ask for a 30. You won’t regret it .

Beautiful campground. It has everything you would want camping by a lake. The road going to the Lodge is a littlenarrow for a class a motorhome, but just be mindful. The only part I had was where the garbage cans were, a huge dumpster I could not reach unless climbing on. We will return because it was perfect little lake getaway.

Sites tight and not level. We were double booked in the same site. The outlet in the power pole was loose, we lost power many times. Only redeeming factors were nice employees abd the gorgeous view from a few sites, but you can't reserve the site you want.

STUNNING campsite! I just needed a last minute overnight stop, so only spent around 12 hours here but wish I had more time!! The views were stunning and I so badly wanted to go out on the lake! They’ve got a boat rental place right near the site that I wanted to use. I will be back when I have a chance to stay longer

Less than one star. They claimed not to have any tent sites, so charged us $70 to squeeze into a tiny camper trailer spot. Literally 5 feet from neighbor on one side, not much more on the other. Zero privacy. But they had a dozen empty spots on the other side of the campground. Oh, and don't choose this place for the amenities. Bathroom has one sole shower for women and another for men.... But bring your quarters like it's a 1995 soda machine, because each coin gets you 3 meager minutes of cold water. Better hurry, too, because there's a line. Oh, and need quarters? Out of luck after the office is closed for the day. After a long trip and ready for a good shower, no worse disappointment than digging through your bag desperately for a quarter. And then it runs out when your toddler has soap in his hair, screaming and trying to flee the water's icy horror. It's a joke to call this place a resort when most state parks are 10 times better
