Staff was super friendly. Park is probably 90% full timers. Park needs a lot of improvements. Dog poop everywhere. When I went to disconnect my hose the shut off screwed off and water was going everywhere. Got soaked trying to screw it back on in 40 degree weather. Seems like with the money they're making from all the full timers that they could afford to fix things properly. And if they don't make the full timers clean up after their dogs then the staff needs to. I expect more from KOA's.

We would definitely come back again! We were just stopping over one night in our travels. The night host was at the front when we arrived in the dark and helped up to our site. This was our first time at this resort. While many of the sites are geared towards smaller rigs the staff was accommodating and got us in a larger site. The whole staff have been very welcoming and the events for Memorial Day weekend were exceptional considering the lack of budget for events. The lake is a beautiful backdrop.

This is a really great place if you have kids and/or dogs. There are a lot of fun things to do, 2 pools, lake access, clubhouse, playgrounds, animals to feed, karaoke night, bingo, etc. It has a very casual feel which can be nice and perfect if that’s what you’re going for. I wouldn’t come expecting the most glamorous set up, but that is part of this parks charm. Love the train theme. We have gone... This is a really great place if you have kids and/or dogs. I wouldn’t come expecting the most glamorous set up, but that is part of this parks charm. Love the train theme. We have gone twice this summer and both times were a huge hit with my toddler. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the cabins a little (but again, it’s a camp ground not a resort). We were very happy with our stay and will be back again.

If you are paying cash to stay here, don't. We are through a travel program and they put us in a spot only for our program, but it was not taken care of at all. Smelled like sewer 85% of the time. The pipes leak so there was water over our site most of the time. There was a bunch of workers, but i couldn't really tell they did anything. Our electric box didn't work correctly so they ran an extension cord to our site.
