About Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park Campground

Campground in Washington.

Nestled along the scenic shores of Osoyoos Lake in Washington's beautiful Okanogan-Similkameen region, this public campground offers RV travelers an exceptional destination combining natural beauty with thoughtful community values. The park's waterfront location provides stunning views of the pristine lake, which stretches across the Washington-British Columbia border and is known for its remarkably warm, clear waters—perfect for swimming, boating, and water sports during the warmer months.

The surrounding landscape captures the essence of Eastern Washington's high desert environment, characterized by golden rolling hills, vineyards, and abundant sunshine. The town of Osoyoos sits just nearby, a charming community that has become increasingly popular as a wine destination. The area boasts numerous wineries, orchards, and farm-to-table dining experiences that reflect the region's agricultural heritage. Visitors can explore local shops, galleries, and farmers markets, or venture into the broader Okanagan wine country just across the border in British Columbia.

The park's veteran-focused mission adds a special dimension to the camping experience, honoring those who have served while creating a welcoming community atmosphere. This dedication attracts visitors who appreciate the values of respect, service, and outdoor camaraderie. I did not visit the motel. I accessed the park. Lawn is maintained, restrooms available but I did not use them, picnic tables and small covered area available. Dog friendly with leash requirement and a boat launch area

7.18.25) I drop in whenever I'm in Oroville just to sit awhile and enjoy the park. I go up to the rodeo at Chesaw every 3rd (dance) and 4th of July (rodeo,) then down to Oroville to the lake to watch the fireworks displays around the park, some are private citizens some are larger displays put on by area interests. There is a kayak rental. A nice camping area. A nice cordoned off swimming area at... 7.18.25) I drop in whenever I'm in Oroville just to sit awhile and enjoy the park. An absolutely beautiful and well maintained park. Lots of lawn and large trees for shade. We didn’t visit the restroom facilities so I’m unable to comment on them. We would recommend this park and would come again.

Nice CG. Did have disturbance in nearby site in which police were called late at night. Packed on weekends as it's a popular place on beautiful lake.

Great spot to camp with children. Not much for amenities in Oroville, but the park is ideal for a family stay. The beach is safe for kids.
