Easy and flat hike to the lake but with some river crossings and lots and lots of mosquitoes. Wear water proof hiking boots and bath in bug repellent before you go. Camp sites by the lake are limited.

Amazing hike in the PNW, pretty easy, but it's a long trek out to Pete lake but it's totally worth it, stunning lake nestled in the mountains.

Parking can be difficult. Biting insects troublesome on most of trail, but not really an issue once at lake. Results may vary.

The surroundings were green and fresh. The management did a great job keeping the area clean and well-lit. It was enjoyable to walk around and take in the calm environment.

We might have done this a bit early as the runoff had the creeks flowing high and fast. Fantastic hike.
