Beautiful campground. I stayed in a cabin across from the pond. The campground was quiet despite being close to the highway. The campground is located across the highway from the southern end of the park. There is a light and a crosswalk if you wanted to walk from one side to another. Most sites are good sized with shrubs and trees for privacy. Overall, the sites seem to be mostly level and many have space for tents. I found these sites easier for backing a trailer in when compared to forest loop. Most sites are in shade. There are cabins here as well. There is highway noise but it is better at the sites furthest east and is fairly quiet at night. The jet noise from NAS Whidbe... Most sites are good sized with shrubs and trees for privacy.
