Beautiful campground. I stayed in a cabin across from the pond. The campground was quiet despite being close to the highway. The campground is located across the highway from the southern end of the park. There is a light and a crosswalk if you wanted to walk from one side to another. There is also a 76 convenience store in case you needed anything. The bathrooms were clean and heated. The quarry... Beautiful campground. I stayed in a cabin across from the pond. Most sites are good sized with shrubs and trees for privacy. Overall, the sites seem to be mostly level and many have space for tents. I found these sites easier for backing a trailer in when compared to forest loop. Most sites are in shade. There are cabins here as well. There is highway noise but it is better at the sites furthest east and is fairly quiet at night. The jet noise from NAS Whidbe... Most sites are good sized with shrubs and trees for privacy. The jet noise from NAS Whidbey is louder here compared to the forest loop as it is closer to where they turn after takeoff. That is to be expected - just be aware. The jets are quiet at night. Access to park hiking trails directly from campground, which was a bonus. The 76 gas station and convenience store is adjacent and they sell wood and kindling for campfires, along with food and other supplies. It came in handy for some first aid items. Very clean and friendly sevice.

Campground is well-maintained and people are very respectful. Campsites can be close together, but pits and picnic benches are usually separate for some privacy

Clean and easy campground near beaches. When we were there, there were no Navy jets operating at night. The water spigot are turned off in the winter. The bathrooms are heated (that was very welcome in the winter!) and the showers are free for campers. Our spot 347 is right on Quarry Pond, which is as attractive as it can be given that it's the water that filled in an old hillside quarry.

Awesome camp ground. Some spots are really sloped. Making it hard to level an rv. Other than that cool quiet place with a bit to explore. There is a mini mart close by with alot of the things you might have forgotten.
