Pros *Pretty scenery/venue *Gorgeous atrium, plants, stained glass, fountain, etc. *Beautiful bride & groom suites *Decor was nice in the cabin *Walking distance to the day of *Linens were clean *Lady on the phone was nice and helpful Cons *Awful communication (if we hadn't called in advance, we would have been locked out, no email or info on how to get into the cabin or how to find our cabin). Open til 3, but no one was in the office at 2:45? *No photos of the cabins (I added them for others) *Dirty/dusty floors, I would have mopped had I access to one. (both in the cabin and community venue area) *Dusty overhead, light fixtures/covers, cross beams, etc. *Low-flow toilet could barely flush proper, had problems all weekend with it. *Wall A/C unit in NM can't keep up with the heat *unclean refrigerators (both the community fridge and the cabins, one of the community fridges didn't even have shelves) *Limited electric sockets (one by the front door and one in the bathroom) *Rude neighbors (being yelled at by private residents for walking on paved path from the venue to our cabin; if its an issue put up fences/signs on the path) *Overpriced, $150 for a dirty facilities, wall a/c, bad toilet, and other points above.

Not a good place to stay if your using the RV sites. We booked a site because it's located between the two National Parks. We had to call over and over to get a hold of someone to book it. We had to call over and over to get a hold of someone to book it. This should have been our first sign. We received an email a couple days later confirming the site with a crudely drawn map with directions to the RV sites. The map also had a warning to not go near a couple buildings... We arrived mid-afternoon and processed to the office, but it locked up. We called the number provided and no one answered. Finally a couple maintenance workers came over and told us were to park. The map was no help and they even agreed. The there was three sites that we could see. They each had water and power and then a 'dump station' was located near our site. If more than one camper was there they wouldn't be able to use it. I checked the other sites and they didn't have a sewer connection so this must have been the only one. Once the maintenance works showed us to the site, we didn't see another human the rest of our stay. The place gives off major cult vibes. I would recommend avoiding this place, just drive up the road a few miles and camp near Carlsbad. Also of note during the night a major wind storm blew in and rocked our camper all night. The RV sites are located a little hill which exposed us to the wind. So we stayed up all night trying to keep the camper from rolling over.

The place is pretty, and far enough off the road. Plenty of space. It was close to the caverns and Guadalupe Park. Couldn't get better as far as location. It is rustic, seriously. Don't come here if you're going to get worked up about cobwebs, cracks, dirty blinds, ect.

The manager’s reason lack of safety net in the windy weather conditions. The weather is not windy. Contrarily, it is so hot. It is just unacceptable excuse and unprofessional and also cheap service. Kids and teachers regretted to choose this place that they spent their camp chance here. However overall, not a bad place
