Chehalis is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Washington weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for Chehalis.
Don't miss local attractions near Chehalis. Ask the camp host for hidden gems and trails.

My sister and I had a wonderful time here in the off season! Going down toward the tent sites, there are portable potties and outdoor sinks every few sites, so pretty accessible facilities wherever you park. Would recommend!!

I stayed August 17th thru the 21st. When I showed up I was greeted by camp host John. He answered all my questions and showed me where my site was. There was only about 12 other camper at the time. Bring some quarters for the shower. There are some honey buckets out houses around the site also. John's wife Hedi was very nice also. My dog and I made this trip. The next trip will be with the wife and both dogs. We will definitely be back. Thank you John and Hedi for being great host

Upon our arrival, we found the office to be closed, with no instructions available for checking into our room. After a brief period of panic, lasting approximately ten minutes, we were able to locate one of the owners. We voiced our concerns, given that this was a new location for us, but she seemed to downplay the issue, indicating that this was their standard procedure. The cabins are exceptionally small and can become unbearably hot at night, even with the use of two fans. The terrain leading to the lake is quite rugged and may pose difficulties for those with limited physical fitness. Although our cabin neighbors were friendly, we ultimately decided to depart early due to the inadequate beds in the cabins. The mattresses on the bunk beds are not sized correctly for the frame. This campground would benefit from increasing its staff and upgrading its bedding. The mattresses are similar to those found in a correctional facility. We do not intend to return to this location.

We brought our camper and stayed at an RV site with our 8&10yo. Lots of kids for them to play with. Nice playground. Volleyball net up to use. Two large fields to hangout in (we used one for baseball). Nice little patio to sit at and look at the lake. Bathrooms were clean. Ice and wood available. The hike to get down to the lake is a pain but if you drive 9min away there is a day use area that is free M-R and $10 F-Su called Mossyrock Park. And it is fantastic. Great swimming hole. Can paddle board, kayak, swim, fish, …. I am absolutely staying here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Our site was great and roomy with a perfect grassy area for the kids, the owners were wonderful and helpful. We can’t wait to come back :)
