As long as no one else is there, it’s my kind of a simple fine and pleasant misery. No running water, outhouses are in clenched sprinting distance, and the air is fresh, as long as you don’t step in a fresh cow pie ;-) When the worst thing about your trip is the neighboring campers yelling for their dog, running generators, starting chainsaws, firing up the kiddos motorbikes and RC cars before 8am... I guess it could be worse. Between defending camp from the cows each night and dodging folks who think the driveway around the meadow is a private dirt track for motocross events, it’s very peaceful. “Details daddy, merely details.”
